How to swap an existing PDF image

Lift the old image region first, then use Replace image in Properties. The new PNG or JPEG keeps the editable object bounds and can be resized or repositioned before the PDF is saved.

  1. Select the old image

    Choose Edit image and drag tightly around the image you want to replace.

  2. Upload the replacement

    Open Properties, choose Replace image and select a PNG or JPEG.

  3. Align and download

    Resize, move or rotate the new image until it fits, then export the PDF.

Can I replace a logo in a PDF?

Yes. Lift the logo region, choose Replace image and position the updated logo within the page.

Will the old image remain visible?

The selected original bounds are masked before the replacement is drawn into the exported PDF.

Can I undo an image replacement?

Yes. Image lifting, replacement, movement and deletion use the same undo and redo history as other editor actions.
